February 9, 2022 – Online Meeting – The “Living Labs for the Students of the Future” (LLSF) project officially commenced with a productive online kick-off meeting held on February 9, 2022. Representatives from all partner universities convened to establish the project’s administrative framework and lay the groundwork for future technical activities.

The meeting began with a thorough review of essential administrative procedures. Key decisions included the implementation of a collaborative Google Drive system for document sharing, ensuring seamless communication and accessibility for all partners. The project’s financial structure was clarified, with a detailed budget breakdown provided in Annex 2 of the Grant Agreement, supplemented by a consolidated lump sum document. Participants also received a comprehensive set of templates for various project activities, including transnational meetings, project results, multiplier events, and Learning, Teaching, and Training Activities (LTTAs).

To maintain transparency and accountability, a system for monthly timesheet uploads was established. Each participating university was assigned a dedicated folder within the Google Drive for activity-specific documentation. Financial responsibilities were also clearly defined, with designated personnel from each institution tasked with overseeing financial matters.

The first phase of the project will focus on the development of critical management documents, including the Management Handbook, the Evaluation and Quality Assurance Plan, and the Risk Plan. The University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB) will lead the drafting process and provide regular updates and solicit feedback from all partners. A detailed Communication and Dissemination Plan was presented, outlining the strategies for effectively sharing project outcomes and engaging with stakeholders.

The meeting concluded with the scheduling of a follow-up meeting to discuss the project’s technical activities. The “Living Labs for the Students of the Future” project partners are enthusiastic about moving forward and achieving the project’s objectives.
